The Inauguration doesn’t just display the start of a new presidency, it also is a big night for fashion. With the Inauguration fast approaching, we thought it was a perfect time to look at gowns from the past and pick our favorites.

Michelle Obama, 2009

In 2009 Michelle Obama wore a flowy white gown designed by Jason Wu. Jason Wu first launched his collection in 2007, however many say his success skyrocketed thanks to Michelle inaugural entrance. She chose Jason Wu again in 2013.
